Substitute Teacher Employment Opportunities

Bois Blanc Pines is seeking candidates to apply for substitute teacher vacancies!

The Bois Blanc Pines School District is in need of substitute teachers for our K-8 school. The pay is $100 per substitute day. 

The Michigan Requirements Are:

• Individual desiring placement as a substitute teacher who are not in possession of a valid Michigan teaching certificate must obtain a substitute teacher permit.
• Individual must have at least 60 semester hours with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Official transcript is required. Online transcript copies are not acceptable.
• Individuals must undergo a fingerprinting process which includes a Michigan criminal history and FBI records check. The charge for this process is approximately $65.25, which is reimbursable with completion of the application process and approval.
